Policies

A country must secure its borders. A physical wall with sensors and surveillance should be constructed between the U.S. and Mexico.

Children born in the U.S. should be given citizenship.

Illegal immigrants should not have access to government-subsidized healthcare.

Present day immigration processing is inefficient. If an individual is able to read, write and speak basic English and meet certain qualifications, then they should have a pathway to become an American citizen. It doesn't matter how long you've been in the country. See Shapiro .

Undocumented immigrants should be evaluated individually for eligibility to remain in the U.S. Law-abiding, English-speaking, employed illegal immigrants should be required to apply for a visa. Criminals, welfare recipients, and non-English speakers should be deported and required to immigrate legally from outside the U.S.

Government processing of visa applications is inefficient and should be conducted by the private sector, overseen by the U.S. Department of State.
